ComboApp went live! Welcome!
ComboApp went live! I don't think it's possible to express in words the anticipation of this moment, but finally it has happened: ComboApp(c) - the iPhone, iPad and Android App Builder for the rest of us has launched!!! At this point it works as a web-based service at ComboApp.com and as an Android phone application, which is available on Android Market, just search for ComboApp to get your hands on the app.

We came a long way, yes you read it right - a long way, because you perceive several months of intense project development that seemed like several years. I'm writing this post on behalf of every member of the team, who worked a lot, quite often spending weekends in the office to finish crucial things in the development. Thank you guys for the great work and tremendous effort to make it happen!

I think "launch" describes the moment better than any other, because in many ways it's like launching a space ship - the intense teamwork for long periods of time, with lots of testing, re-coding and working on tons of things, which were impossible to plan and predict originally. At this point the issue is that Apple still hasn't approved the app we submitted a week ago, it's the second attempt and the delay has nothing to do with a technical matter but the business model we've developed for the ComboApp and had to discuss it with Apple.

Now as we're launching ComboApp I realize that it's just the beginning. We have a bunch of ideas to develop and add to the service in the future and of course customer support will be a whole new aspect to deal with. So, without further ado, all business owners who have plans to develop an app for the iPhone, iPad or Android phone welcome to ComboApp.com!
